Real Madrid defeated Inter 2-0 in the last round of the Champions League’s Group D.
The Kings welcomed Inter at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium and recorded their fifth triumph from six games this season in the Champions League with a 2-0 result. The first goal of the match was scored in the 17th minute. Rodrygo found Toni Kroos on the right side, who shot with his left foot from 20 meters and scored for 1-0.
Inter were unsuccessful in attacking and trying to equalize, but when Nicolo Barella naively received a red card for hitting Eder Militao in the 64th minute, it was clear that the points would remain in Madrid. The final 2-0 was set by Marco Asensio in the 79th minute of the match when he shot from the edge of the penalty area and hit the inner side of the post for an eurogoal.
In the second match of this group, the last-placed Shakhtar and Sheriff drew 1-1.
